The lector is the person responsible for reading the first two bible lessons and the psalm at Sunday Worship. This is a good choice for people who would like to read the lessons, but do not wish to be worship assistants. As a lector, you would simply leave your seat to go to the podium to read, then return to your seat at worship when finished.
