Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kennebunk, Maine is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and part of the New England Synod. We believe in the Holy Trinity: God our Father, His Son our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit. We believe in the forgiveness of sins and the joy and comfort of knowing our Lord is always with us.
Holy Cross Lutheran Church is the only ELCA congregation in York County, Maine – members of our congregation hail from Arundel, Biddeford, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Lyman, Saco, Scarborough, Kittery, Wells, York Harbor, and all across Southern Maine. We are a collection of members, friends, families, and visitors. We welcome all to worship with us, to pray with us, to sing with us, to dine with us, or to simply share a cup of coffee.
We grow together in faith through worship, communion, prayer, Bible study, children’s ministry, fellowship events, and mutual support in times of need. We also serve our greater local community through our Seasonal Community Meal Program, and through our partnerships with the Kennebunk Cares Clothing Closet, Community Outreach Services, Caring Unlimited, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
